Having just started a “normal” 9-5 job again I have discovered I’m in need of more orchestral soundtracks from either films or games. Whilst my iPod has over 70GB of music, a large part of it is unsuitable as it’s with lyrics which distracts me too much or, worse, could lead me to sing along. Which is something no one wants!
I have a lot of film and game soundtracks already and some of them are my favourite things to listen to at any time. Some of those include [listed in order of most frequently played according to my Last.fm profile]:
- John Williams – Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Harry Potter, etc..
- Howard Shore – Lord of the Rings
- Michael Giacchino – Lost
- Inon Zur – Dragon Age
- Hans Zimmer – Pirates of the Caribbean, Batman Begins, etc
- Murray Gold – Doctor Who
- Jack Wall and Sam Hulick – Mass Effect
- Martin O’Donnell – Halo
- Alexander Brandon – Deus Ex
- Christopher Lennertz – Gun
- Nicholas Hooper – Harry Potter
- John Powell – Mr & Mrs Smith
- Jeremy Soule – Fable, Elder Scrolls Oblivion
- Andy Price – Robin Hood [BBC drama]
- Jesper Kyd – Hitman Blood Money
I need more!
Suggestions, please!
